Top 5 Soccer Complexes in Southwest Florida

Although equipment is extremely important, the first thing you must have in order to train is a proper field. Below I’ve made a list of the top five best complexes to play at for any soccer players in Southwest Florida.
1.) Paradise Coast Sports Complex
This field is located in Naples and is the definition of top quality. It features five full-sized artificial turf fields capable of hosting soccer, football, lacrosse and field hockey. The field is home to three local semi pro teams and also hosts the azzuri storm which is a travel soccer team here in Florida. Aside from the fields, Paradise Coast Sports Complex also has recreational areas and even food stands where you can buy beverages. Everything is clean and professional. Even the bathrooms maintain a high level of care. This complex is perfect for any soccer player and truly deserves the 5 star ranking.
2.) North Collier Regional Park Soccer Fields
This is a massive park also situated in Naples. It not only has a plethora of soccer fields which are all of great quality, the park is also home to a waterpark, baseball fields, and a children’s museum. The fields are also unique because this park has a handful of turf fields and also a handful of real fields. Its a good mix where you can get a bit of everything. I rate The North Collier Regional Park so high as well because it’s just so infamous for travel soccer teams in Florida. So many tournaments and games are held there. For me it genuinely feels nostalgic just to go. The field is genuinely just extremely popular. For example, a couple months ago Messi was there watching his son play a game. So I mean when you have the GOAT showing up at a soccer complex, I have to give it a 5 star ranking.

3.) Hillsborough County Tournament SportsPlex
When it comes to size, Hillsborough County Tournament SportsPlex is far superior from the rest. The sportsplex has 15 full sized soccer fields and 330 parking spots. It’s a massive complex that holds big tournaments every year. Any travel soccer team in south Florida has surely had a run in at these fields. The only reason I don’t give the sports flex the five stars is because for the size and magnitude of the complex it only has one bathroom for boys and one for girls. Additionally, they are not very well kept restrooms either. That is he only real flaw I see with this almost perfect soccer facility located in Tampa.
4.) Kelly Road Soccer Complex
Kelly Road Soccer Complex located in Fort Myers is a 40 acre area that contains 6 full sized soccer fields. A majority of tournaments and games for all ages in Southwest Florida are held here. Although the fields here aren’t turf they are of very good quality. One plus for this field is how it has areas implanted all over the complex that have shade next to the fields. Many times I’ve trained here and those little seats to sit under the shade can be extremely helpful during hot Florida days. Overall, although this a great complex I still give it a 4 stars for the same reason I criticized the Hillsborough sportsplex. There is only bathroom and it is extremely below standards. On big tournament days this turns into a real problem.
5.) Cape Coral Sports Complex
The Cape Coral Sports Complex is a 52 acre park that has 5 soccer fields, 5 softball fields, and 4 baseball fields. The park also has a great kids playground and even a pavilion with benches where you can rest in some shade. travel teams like the Cape Coral cyclones play here and hold their practices. The recreational league in Cape Coral also holds their games here. It is an extremely well known field in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers area and for good reason. The only real problem I have with the fields are that they are closed far too many months out of the year due to reconstruction. Additionally the bathrooms are also very dirty.
